The El Paso Rhinos have been awarded the bid to hold the first ever Thorne Cup Championship.
The four team round robin championship tournament will be held March 28 – 31, 2012. The championship will be represented by the winner of the Western Conference, winner of the Mountain Conference, winner of the MidWest Conference and the host team the El Paso Rhinos.
“This is very exciting for our organization. To host the first ever Thorne Cup Championship is a great opportunity for our players and our great fans” said Coach Herman.
The tournament is said to attract many college coaches and scouts from all over the United States.
Tickets packages for the event will go on sale Home Opening weekend vs the Dallas Snipers.
