Navarone Copley comes to El Paso as the second player to sign from Fairbanks, Alaska.

“I spoke to Trevor (Converse) at the Fairbanks Ice Dogs (NAHL) camp in Minnesota.”

“They seem really devoted to the players in El Paso.

“[On playing in Texas] “my parents don\’t care where I\’m playing as long as I\’m playing good hockey and the Rhinos have been pretty successful every year.”

“I\’m excited to play with Ben (Henne), I played against him in High School, but despite both being from Fairbanks, this is the first time we\’ll actually be on the same team, he was always an age group lower than I was.”

Described as “an all around player with good hands” Copley hopes to put up big numbers.

“Copley is a power forward with speed who competes in the corners and will help his linemates put up big numbers.”
