Join us for our 2nd Annual Vern Johndro Memorial Rhino Run! The 5K & 8K Competitive Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk & Run starts at 8:00 am on Saturday, August 23 at Braden Aboud Park/Marwood Shelter (5265 Roxbury Drive).
All proceeds benefit Ronnie’s Kids Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to players in need of registration fee, equipment, jerseys. The Fund also provides free registration and new equipment for recreational program players in need.

All military personnel receive $5 off.
Early Registration (through August 21)
- 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk – $20
- 5K & 8K Competitive Run – $25
- Teams of 10 or more – $20 for each team member

There is no Race Day registration. Online registration closes at 6 PM on August 21.

August 22 at Up And Running (3233 N. Mesa) between 11 AM and 6 PM
Race Day Packet Pick Up
August 23 at Braden Aboud Park/Marwood Shelter between 7 AM and 7:45 AM
Awards & Prizes
- The first 400 registrants will receive t-shirts.
- The top 3 overall males and females in 5K and 8K Run will receive trophies.
- The largest team will receive a trophy.
- The top 3 male and female age group winners (9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over) will receive medals.
