Angel Sanca will be staying in El Paso for one more year as a Rhino hockey player. The strong defenseman played in 34 games in 2014-2015 for the Rhinos while also contributing quite a bit in the playoffs.
Despite only receiving a limited amount of playing time, Sanca made the most of his opportunities during each and every game. During the 2014-2015 season, Sanca managed to score a total of six points, five assists as well as one goal. Sanca also had some playing time during the Rhino’s playoff-run, and was able to provide one assist to his teammates.
Sanca measures in at 6’0’’ tall and weighs about 220 lbs., a solid size for a defenseman. Sanca’s experience and chemistry with the team can only be viewed as positive, and his skillset is sure to improve and expand.
