Miller Commits to Gustavus Adolphus

May 5, 2022

Congratulations to Christian Miller who has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey at Gustavus Adolphus College! The Rhino defenseman has tallied two goals and five assists in his 52 NAHL games—23 of those games played with the Rhinos.

“Christian is a hardworking, committed young man who impacted the team with his leadership on and off the ice. He was a great addition to the team in the second half of the season,” said Head Coach Anthony Bohn. “Our organization is happy for Christian and his family, and we wish him best of luck in his college career.”

Gustavus Adolphus College is a private liberal arts college in St. Peter, Minnesota. This past February, the Golden Gusties’ men’s hockey team advanced to the second round of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) playoffs where they lost to Augsburg University.

Miller is now one of five current Rhinos committed to play hockey in college. Ian Carpenter will head to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the fall, Jonathan Horn will join the Air Force Academy’s hockey program, Jan Olenginski will play at St. Lawrence University and age-out Jacob Zacharewicz will lace up his skates at Brown University next season.
