Former Rhino Martin Dubsky becomes the second Rhino from the 2018-19 championship team to sign a pro-level contract.

After only a single season in Rhino Country, the forward has joined the roster of SK Kadan, A Czech II team, in Kadan, Czech Republic.

In 49 regular-season games with the Rhinos, Dubsky scored 24 goals and 51 assists for an impressive total of 75 points. Dubsky went on to post 13 points in the final nine playoff games of his junior career. He scored the game winning goal in the 2-0 championship win over the Ogden Mustangs and was subsequently named to the 2019 All Thorne Cup Team. Despite leading the team in assists and ranking second in total points scored during the season, Dubsky was lauded for his defensive presence on the ice. Rhino Assistant Coach Vinny Bohn recalled, “He was one of the team’s best 200-foot players throughout the season and also led the team in blocked shots as a forward. He played in all situations, performed his best in high pressure games, and did it all with a smile on his face.”
