Rhinos 14, Thunder 3

After beating Wichita, 14-2, Thursday night, the Rhinos (28-2-0-0, 56 points, 1st Midwest Division) have outscored the Jr. Thunder 28-5 in the two games this weekend.

Nagy, who joined the Rhinos on the road just before El Paso swept the Dallas Ice Jets, now has six goals in five games. His second goal was the Rhinos’ league-leading 23rd short-handed goal of the season.

Team co-captain Dakota Beaulieu started the scoring 2:15 into the game, followed by Nagy’s three tallies and Chandler Bruyckere’s goal to round out a five-goal first frame.

Jeremy Rezaeepour scored twice in the second period, sandwiching goals from Nagy, Austin Hoff and Chad Cesarz with the first of his two.

Kendal Craig, Chris Wilhite, Cesarz and Andrew Bradford rounded out the scoring in the third period.
