Rhinos trample Warriors 4-1 in Game 2

Friday: Oklahoma Warriors 0 @ El Paso Rhinos 3 – Rhino Country welcomes the Oklahoma Warriors this weekend for the first of a two-game series! Ryan Gingher starts us off with the first score of the night at just under 3 minutes into the period, giving the Rhinos a 1-0 lead. Joey LoVullo holds the Warriors to 0 with excellent goaltending and we’d move on to the second period where Medrick Bolduc takes us to 2-0. With one more goal from Kyle Arias deep in the third period, Rhinos took a 3-0 victory over the Warriors.

Saturday: Oklahoma Warriors 1 @ El Paso Rhinos 4 – Game 2 is underway here in Rhino Country as the Warriors & Rhinos are back at it once again. The first period saw neither team scoring but it is anything but uneventful with plenty of shots on both sides. Headed in to the second peariod Camden Bajzer gave the Rhinos their first goal of the night at the 8:31 mark followed just a few minutes later by Tim Mathys. Joey LoVullo once again holds the opposing team to 0 points at the end of the second, showing off his defensive prowess. As time ticks on we find ourselves in the last few minutes of the period where AJ Reed takes a third goal for the Rhinos, but the Warriors are determined to prevent a shutout, scoring one goal in the final minute. Bajzer sneaks in one last goal for the Rhinos and the game ends in a 4-1 Rhino victory.
