Friday: Amarillo Wranglers 1 @ El Paso Rhinos 2 – Rhinos are on the ice for their first game after Thanksgiving as the Amarillo Wranglers pay a visit to Rhino Country! Rhinos take an early game lead thanks to Tim Mathys bagging a goal at halfway past the ten minute mark in the first. Rhinos take to the second with a 1-0 lead where Kael Depape shows off his skills and prevents the Wranglers for scoring for the entirety of the period. As regulation time comes to an end Corson McGuire takes a point for the Wranglers and we see a 1-1 tie to send us into overtime. Camden Bajzer breaks the stalemate and Rhinos take Game #1 with a 2-1 lead.

Saturday: Amarillo Wranglers 3 @ El Paso Rhinos 2 – Rhinos & Wranglers ready up for the second and final game of the series! The early game goes to the Wranglers who take the first goal of the night. We sit at a 1-0 lead for the Wranglers until the second period where AJ Reed ties up the game at just under five minutes for the Rhinos. Tory Lund rounds out the period with a second goal where Rhinos take back the lead from the Wranglers. Rhino defense held admirably for almost the entirely of the third period until the Wranglers tied it up with one goal with 23 seconds left on the clock. Just as quickly as we head into overtime the game is over with the Wranglers scoring to steal the game 3-2.
