Spike and Rhino Run

Aug 24, 2015

Thank you to all of those that participated in the Rhino Run on Saturday! Very happy with the turnout, the EPHA and Rhinos are sincerely grateful for the continued support of the best fans in junior hockey.

In addition to honoring Vern Johndro, for whom the Run is named, those at the Run also took a moment of silence to honor Katie Woods who passed away on Friday. Just before the runners crossed the start line, they all stopped to acknowledge the strength and courage Katie displayed during her long fight with cancer.

Spike also appeared with a new look! He met and mingled with Rhino fans for the first time. He even helped the recruit members for the new Rhino support club called The Crash. Scroll down to see Spike come out of the Rhino head!
