Tulsa Preview

Feb 5, 2016

Record (17-18-2)
Following another successful weekend in which they took five of six possible points from Ontario, the El Paso Rhinos are just two points behind fourth-place Tulsa, with six games in hand on the Jr. Oilers.
It’s significant progress for a streaky team that has struggled to keep itself out of the basement in a tough Midwest Division.
The Rhinos have played 37 games this season. Their top two scorers, Connor Beaudet (24-13-37) and Petr Ceslik (18-12-30), have played in just 28 and 26 of those games, respectively.
El Paso has not lost in regulation at home since a December 4 setback against Dallas.
The Rhinos will play 10 of their final 16 games at Sierra Providence Events Center in El Paso. They close out the regular season with seven consecutive home games.
El Paso has a chance to pass Tulsa in the division standings this weekend when it plays three games against the Jr. Oilers.
