The El Paso Rhinos ended their opening weekend with an overtime win. Finishing the series with a perfect 3-0 against last season’s division finalist the Tulsa Rampage.

After winning the Mid-West Division in the Western States Hockey League and making it all the way to junior nationals, the El Paso Rhinos have a tough task if they want to top their inaugural season.
 
They are off to a good start, winning their first two games against the Tulsa Rampage in Tulsa, OK.

With the main camp over, the 2007-08 El Paso Rhinos have begun to practice in earnest for their first upcoming games against the Tulsa Rampage, Sept. 21-23rd. The returning veterans that include Alec Sherman, Marcus Wilhite, Costi Hinn and Nick Gorup are providing a  solid foundation on which to build this year’s team.
